The Asia-Pacific Alliance for the Control of Influenza (APACI) in collaboration with the Association of Physicians India (API), and the Indian Chest Society (ICS), and the Middle East, Eurasia and Africa Influenza Stakeholders Network (ME’NA-ISN), held a virtual Respiratory Diseases Workshop for India on 27 & 28 August 2022.
Using the theme of ‘Medical Practice in the Post Covid World: Newer Paradigms’, the workshop explored:
- Diagnostic and Intervention strategies for the management of acute respiratory infections during COVID-19 era
- Understanding and communicating the impact of COVID-19 on influenza activity
- Prevention of collateral damage during the pandemic times – How to build up a resilient health care system to live with SARS-CoV-2
The meeting was endorsed by the Association of Physicians India (API).
