We are thrilled to report the successful completion of the special 1.5-hour symposium, “Influenza Vaccination Post COVID-19: A Rethink”. This engaging symposium was a part of the 1st Asia Pacific Immunisation Coalition’s (APIC) Summit on Infectious Diseases and Immunization, representing a pivotal step in our continuous journey to tackle the complexities of immunisation in the Asia-Pacific region.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed speakers, Prof. Terapong Tantawichien, Dr. Cissy Kartasasmita, and Dr. Pham Quang Thai, for their invaluable contributions. Their insights into the influenza situations in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, respectively, provided a comprehensive understanding of the regional dynamics and the impact of COVID-19 on influenza vaccination strategies. Their expertise significantly enriched the discussions, offering attendees a deeper perspective on the subject.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to the organizers of the event, APIC and ADVA, for their impeccable planning and execution.
